Join JWLA for a 50 minute presentation by President of Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) Thomasina Moore on Modern Day Challenges to Maintaining Professionalism: Battling Lawyers, Burnout, and The Business of Law. This presentation will focus on understanding the potential professional ethical issues that can occur while practicing, learning techniques and strategies to handle potential professional conflicts, and understanding the benefits of organizations and associations, such as Florida Association for Women Lawyers, in facing challenges and promoting professionalism. General and professionalism CLE credits have been approved for this luncheon.

This year, JWLA is continuing its efforts of community outreach and giving back to the local community.  For each luncheon, we will spotlight a local charity or other nonprofit organization and will conduct a donation drive, to be collected at that month’s luncheon. This month JWLA will be spotlighting and collecting donations for Girls of Virtue! 

Girls of Virtue's mission is to empower young women to be grounded spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially through mentorship and education. Girls of Virtue is a group program providing team building through outdoor activities to get the girls in nature and build their confidence, all while allowing them to pray and meditate to begin overcoming the challenges created by the current or past situations they have faced. Girls of Virtue will surround young women with strong, successful women who have experienced similar challenges and overcome those challenges to be successful in their personal and professional lives.
