Join us as President of The Florida Bar Scott Westheimer presents on The State of the Florida Bar. The State of The Bar presentation covers: 

1. A snapshot of the Florida Bar;
2. Lawyer Discipline - overview, statistics & top ways to avoid a Bar grievance;
3. Member Benefits;
4. Legal Technology, including cybersecurity & A.I.; and, 
5. Cooperation & Collaboration with Voluntary Bar Associations. 

The year, JWLA is continuing its efforts of community outreach and giving back to the legal community. For each luncheon, we will spotlight a local charity or other nonprofit organization and will conduct a donation drive, to be collected at that month's luncheon. This luncheon, we will be spotlighting and collecting donations for Jacksonville's Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS). Below is a list of items we will be collecting: 

1. Dog Supplies: Kuranda beds, Velveeta Cheese, Benzoyl-Plus Shampoo, Soft Dog Training Treats, Pup-Peroni Treats, spray cheese, Sentry Calming Collars. 
2. Cat Supplies: Cat treats, canned kitten food, kitten milk replacer (powder or liquid), Feliway Cat Calming Spray, calming collars, catnip. 
3. Cleaning and Household Items: dryer sheets, disinfecting wipes, bleach, dawn dishwashing liquid, plastic spray bottles, laundry detergent new or used towels/sheets/blankets/comforters. 
4. Medical Supplies: Digital thermometers, Kendall Conform 2-inch stretch gauze, cordless grooming clippers, isopropyl alcohol, peroxide, powder free exam gloves (size small, medium and large).
