This year, JWLA is continuing its efforts of community outreach and giving back to the local community.  For each luncheon, we will spotlight a local charity or other nonprofit organization and will conduct a donation drive, to be collected at that month’s luncheon.  The January Luncheon will spotlight Arize Together.

Arize Together offers ongoing community and encouragement to women who have received therapeutic programming following a history of sexual exploitation. Set up like an exclusive club, Arize Together creates opportunities for "members" to connect with one another and with their own "sister ally," who is their champion and friend. This intentional community promotes healthy lifestyles, fosters career development and illuminates pathways to better, more affordable housing.
