Hi JWLA members,

We are excited to announce that JWLA, once again, will be participating in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the First Coast 5K!  Making Strides donations go directly to the American Cancer Society to fund groundbreaking breast cancer research, provide free information and support, and help prevent breast cancer and find it earlier when it’s easier to treat.

JWLA would love to have you join our team to help us raise breast cancer awareness and fund for the future at the upcoming Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the First Coast 5K on Saturday, October 19, 2024.  Gates will open at 8:00am and festivities will begin in the East Club Plaza.  Opening ceremonies will begin at 8:50am, and the walk itself begins at 9:00am. Please arrive no later than 8:45 am so that we can all grab a picture together with all of our pink on!  We will meet up just outside the gate in Parking Lot C.  You will have to go through security, so travel light.  The walk route is just shy of 3.1 miles with water stops and cheer stations along the way to encourage walkers and keep everyone hydrated! There will also be entertainment and more!
