Do you remember the community organization we partnered with in January, 2024?

It was Girls of Virtue! 

Girls of Virtue is a community for young women to have a safe environment that will teach them the proper skills they need to face today's complex generation. To install life skills through mentorship, workshops, and education. Empowering them to be grounded spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially. 

We have a great opportunity to further support them while also focusing on our own health and wellness. Let's get moving with a 5k (3.1 mile) activity. You can run, jog, or walk. There is also a 1 mile run/walk for you or the kiddos.

All proceeds from their 2nd Annual Girls of Virtue 5k will go directly to their program. From 14 years old when our youth begin navigating their emotions, to 18 as they transition into independent living, and into their early 20s we will fill the gap for our young women. In November 2022 they opened the first Empowerment Center in this area to offer free classes to the young women in the community. 

They have a gym to teach fitness and self-defense. A yoga studio for mindfulness. A kitchen for nutrition and healthy cooking on a budget. A computer lab for college and job applications, resumes, and homework. A library filled with books to empower and equip them. Private rooms for mentoring and one on one mental health coaching. A creative arts area to expand their imaginations. A large life skills room for group therapy and workshops on every topic to prepare young ladies for success. Then an entire floor is dedicated to helping these young ladies launch companies and earn vocational trades.
